Partnership between Kenner and visual artist Saturno presents versions of the Rakka and Red sandals focusing on representation, authorial art, and urban culture.
A Kenner presented this Wednesday, February 25, an unprecedented collaboration with the visual artist Saturn, stage name of Emerson Rocha. The partnership results in two special versions of the sandals Rakka and Red, integrating recurring elements of the artist's work with the brand's technical design. The launch was celebrated at a meeting at the showroom of Kenner, in Vila Madalena, in São Paulo.
Founded in Rio de Janeiro, Kenner established itself in the Brazilian market based on a position focused on comfort, durability and urban aesthetics. In recent years, the brand has expanded its cultural presence through collaborations and activations that dialogue with music, art, and sports. The approximation with Saturn is part of this strategic movement of connection with visual narratives that represent experiences of the black population in Brazil.

The collection incorporates recurring symbols in the artist's work, such as the golden rose and the star, applied to the insole and graphic details. One of the models features an illustration of a black boy with closed eyes and wings shaped by the brand's “K”. A Rakka comes in off-white with gold finish and vulcanized rubber tracted sole. Already the Red maintains the structure waterproof and adopts the blue developed by Saturn since 2023, a tone that became a visual signature in his recent production.

The launch comes at a time when collaborations between brands and artists have assumed an important role in building symbolic value in the Brazilian fashion market. By integrating authorial art with widely circulated products, initiatives like this broaden the reach of visual narratives linked to identity, belonging, and youth. In the footwear sector, this type of partnership has been used as a tool for cultural differentiation and strategic repositioning.
The sandals are now available on the e-commerce of Kenner and in multi-brand partners. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the brand's presence in new audiences, while maintaining its consolidated base in domestic retail.
